The Bistrot L’Oliveto is located in a typical restored stone barn, adjacent to the pool of Villa La Massa.
The name of the Bistrot is inspired by the olive trees that are abundant in the 10 hectares of parkland surrounding the hotel, from which the precious extra virgin olive oil of Villa La Massa is produced. L’Oliveto offers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, with a beautiful outdoor space surrounded by the colours and scents of the countryside. Inside, the environment features soft colours, exposed beams, and stonework that evoke the Tuscan tradition. The small room on the upper floor, which offers stunning views of the park and the Chianti hills, is ideal for intimate private events. The lunch experience begins with a tempting and delicious Tuscan “coccolo,” followed by fresh and light options such as salads, carpaccio, and pasta, not forgetting pizza and some international classics.
Undisputed stars of the menu at Bistrot L’Oliveto, the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch by the pool, are undoubtedly the Bistecca alla Fiorentina, pici, and pappardelle, as well as the large platter of cured meats and cheeses served with “coccoli” from Florence, to name just a few. The meal concludes sweetly with typical desserts from the region, such as zuccotto and “bongo fiorentino,” which is the name for profiterole in Florence. Pizza and vegan options are always available.
